Community is a vital part of being a human being. We are social creatures and need each other perhaps more than we would care to admit. Groups and Classes can be a very good way to address concerns and grow as a person. And they are very cost-effective. I have developed and led a variety of Meditation and Mindfulness classes and programs. My current offerings include:
Meditation for People CONVINCED They Can’t Meditate
New Classes Start every Fall and Spring
Many people are convinced that they cannot meditate. Come to this class and discover that everyone can meditate everyday. Mindfulness Meditation has been scientifically proven to have robust psychological and physical benefits even at the beginning of its practice. Learn to use these simple but powerful techniques throughout the day to skillfully meet life’s ups and downs.
Mindfulness and Self-Compassion Group for Women

Most of us believe that being kind to others is important. However, most of us treat ourselves with a degree of disdain and harshness with which we would never dream of treating someone else. In this class students will learn techniques designed to cultivate true acceptance, compassion and friendliness towards ourselves.

Meets the Fourth Saturday of the Month at 10:00am
Is being a parent harder than you ever imagined? Along with all the joy that becoming a parent brings there is also a whole new world of worry, guilt, and self-doubt. This can surprise and bewilder even the most dedicated parent. Parents often suffer in silence. Please join us for parenting support and learn techniques to witness and attend to your fears with love and gentleness so that you can truly be present as a person and a parent. Learn to parent peacefully. Join us whether your child is 3, 3 months, or 30!
Mindful Therapist Peer Group
Meets the Fourth Friday of the Month at 11:30am
This group is for psychotherapists looking to incorporate mindfulness into their lives and practices. We will have time to sit in meditation together, as well as discussion.

Meets the Second Saturday of the Month at 10:00am
Join us for our Mindful Knitting Circle as we explore the many metaphors the creative process presents for living a life with heartfulness.
